AOH%20cover_web“An Orphan’s Heart” is the real-life story of Ellen Rodgers, who with the broken spirit of an orphan and the soul of a gypsy, leaves her empty home in Mississippi, heading to a promising life in Alabama.  Eventually, she has to return to face her demons and learns you can never go home again. Finally, she ventures to Texas and finds what her heart yearns for, only to have everything ripped away in a shattering turn of events.

Follow the great adventure of a young woman’s travels across the rugged 1880’s Deep South in search of the only thing that is important to her…love.

5-star-large5 Stars! Lori Crane is a fantastic writer. She makes me feel like I am part of the story and each of the characters is my friend. Orphan’s Heart is the life story of a young girl searching for love and happiness. I felt her pain and shared Ellen’s tears of sadness and joy. The ending will break your heart but give you hope. Lori Crane has quickly become my favorite author and I can’t wait to read her next book. This is a five-star book written by a five-star author. ~Trudi LoPreto for Readers’ Favorite

    • Thank you, Ann! Let me know what you think. The ladies seem to like the stories a lot better than the men do. Too many wedding dresses and not enough cannons and muskets, I suspect. 🙂

    • OMG Steve! Tell me who that little one is. She’s so cute and perfect for the main character. Unless of course you were speaking of the train tracks. LOL. That was perfect too. 🙂
