If you don’t know, I have two jobs. I’m an author and I’m a musician. The musician part takes place mostly on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Here’s my office…
This month, I’ve been sailing back and forth between NY and Bermuda. This is one of my favorite runs because we get to stay in one place for three whole days. Over the years, I’ve made quite a few friends on the island. It’s a quaint place. It’s clean, the people are friendly, and the cops don’t even carry guns because there’s no crime.
There are two things I love about Bermuda. First – the beaches.
Second – the history. I always spend a day touring some old place. The first picture is St. Peter’s Church built in 1602. There’s a cemetery behind it filled with ancient headstones. The second picture is the National Museum at the Royal Navy Dockyard.
Lovely life you have. What a beautiful place Bermuda looks too. I’m envious
Bermuda is awesome!!! If you get a chance, go!
Oh! I was just on the Norwegian Epic a few weeks back. It’s a great cruise line!
I was on the Epic last fall. I think that’s my favorite ship. I plan on going back on in August. Until then, I’ll be bouncing between Breakaway, Getaway, and Escape.
It’s a fabulous ship and actually some friends are on it right now, pottering around the Med! Cruising is just fabulous.
Thanks for sharing. I love to tour old cemetaries and think about the lives of those resting there. There’s a huge one in Key West. The oldest person buried there is 37. Mind blowing isn’t it?
There are tons of slaves in the Bermuda cemetery. I found it strange that the headstones are still very readable, especially because of the salt and sand and hurricanes.
Beautiful – thanks for sharing your “other” life!
🙂 I’d like to narrow down my life to one thing, but I don’t have the time to settle back for a minute and figure out which life would be best.
